This privacy statement applies to all services of Mentro B.V., located at Sint Joosterweg 9, 6051 HE Maasbracht, Netherlands. Mentro is responsible for the processing of personal data as referred to in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

At Mentro, it's all about people. We work daily to create strong matches between employers and candidates. For this, we need personal data – and we handle it with care. In this statement, you can read which data we collect, why we do this, how we secure it, and what rights you have.

Mentro is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this statement.

3. What data do we process?

We only process data that is necessary for our services. Depending on your situation (candidate, client, or visitor), it concerns:

a. If you are looking for work (candidate):

• Name, address, city of residence
• Date of birth, gender, nationality
• Contact details (phone number, email address)
• Education, work experience, skills, CV
• Availability and preferences for work
• Identification details (such as a copy of ID, BSN – only if you actually work for us)
• Bank account number (only with an employment contract)


b. If you are a client:

• Name, company name, position
• Contact details
• Invoice and payment details
• Correspondence and appointments


c. If you visit our website:

• IP address
• Browser data and device
• Cookie preferences and click behaviour
• Any completed forms

4. Why do we process your data?

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

1. To mediate candidates to suitable work (employment, secondment, recruitment & selection).
2. To execute agreements with clients and employees.
3. To comply with legal obligations, such as payroll administration and tax payments.
4. To inform candidates and clients about vacancies, services or updates.
5. To improve our services and analyse statistics.
6. To provide a safe, reliable, and personalised experience via our website.


We only process data when there is a legal basis for it:

• You have given consent.
• It is necessary for the performance of a contract.
• We must comply with a legal obligation.
• We have a legitimate interest, such as quality improvement or marketing.

5. Sharing data with third parties

We only share your data if it is necessary.
For example with:

• Clients (contractors) you may work with.
• Back office partners or payroll (for salary payments and contracts).
• Government agencies (such as the Tax Authority or UWV, if required by law).
• IT service providers who help us keep our systems running safely.

Mentro concludes a processing agreement with all these parties, so your data remains safe there as well.

6. How long do we keep your data?

We do not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

• Candidates who register:
maximum 1 year after the last contact moment, unless you give permission to retain it for longer.

• Employees:
up to 7 years after the end of the employment contract (statutory retention period).

• Clients and suppliers:
up to 7 years after the end of the collaboration.

• Website visitors:
according to the settings in our Cookie Policy.

After the retention period, data will be securely deleted or anonymised.

7. Security of your data

We take security very seriously.
Mentro uses technical and organizational measures to prevent abuse, loss or unauthorized access, including:

• Encrypted connections (SSL)
• Strong access control for employees
• Regular backups and software updates
• Limited access to personal data (only for authorized staff)

All employees of Mentro are also bound by a confidentiality obligation.

8. Your rights

According to the GDPR, you have several rights as a data subject:

1. Right of access – you may see what data we have about you.
2. Right to rectification – you may have inaccurate data corrected.
3. Right to erasure – you may request the deletion of your data if they are no longer needed.
4. Right to restriction of processing – temporarily halt processing.
5. Right to objection – you may object to certain processing, such as marketing.
6. Right to data portability – you may request your data and transfer it to another party.
